The teeth cutouts will be for the children to hold up when I show them different pictures of healthy and none healthy food. I’ll ask the children as I hold up the different pictures of food will this food keep our teeth healthy or will this food damage our teeth. Every time I want to smile,
My teeth will shine for me!

The next thing is to cut out all the food that is good and bad for our teeth then glue the food on the right side it belong on.
Later: I’ll go from table to table observing the children as they cut and glue the pictures. I’ll give the children 35 minutes to work on their collages before I tell them about the final project that got to do with eating healthy and nutrition.
End of Activity: Tell the children they have only 5 more minutes before it’s clean up time. After they time up with art and crafts I’ll start singing the clean-up song for the children can know time is up. After the area is completely clean the children will wash their hand while the children washing their hands I’ll have discussing time to see what we learned about eating healthy. This artifact is my lesson plan and the way I developed the lesson plan was strategizing about the materials, I would need to carry out my main goal of learning development with the children. The lesson plan is broken into 8 parts the first and most important parts is making sure you have all the proper materials for every child who are participating on engaging in the lesson plan activity. The second part is the beginning the activity. At the beginning I simply inform the children about the activity the about to engage in. The parts 4-6 is early, middle and later parts in the lesson plan these parts in the activity is base on the children who are engaging development level. Each child would explore the different materials that are introduced to them in the activity. This artifact demonstrate my growth as a professional because it shown me the different in each child. Although the children who participated in the activity were all in the same age group; each individual child had their own way of manipulating the materials as they explored the new lesson presented to them. This artifact helped meet NAEYC standard 5 because it meets each indivisible child cognitive development level.
Standard 5. Using Content Knowledge to Build Meaning Curriculum
Students prepared in early childhood degree programs use their knowledge of academic disciplines to design, implement, and evaluate experiences that promote positive development and learning for and every young child. Students understand the importance of developmental domains and academic (or content) disciplines in an early childhood curriculum. They know the essential concepts, inquiry tools, and structure of content areas, including academic subjects, and can identify resource to deepen their understanding. Students use their own knowledge and other resources to design, implement, and evaluate meaning, challenging curricula that promote comprehensive development and learning outcomes for every young child.
